CLI 0.4.11 — failed add, preferredTools, and portable lockfiles
- aipm add no longer pins a version in aipm.package.json when the install fails (for example a missing package or version).
- aipm install and aipm update honor preferredTools when several AI tool folders exist, instead of requiring --target or installing to every folder.
- aipm-lock.json stores project-relative paths so the lockfile can be committed and used on another machine.
- aipm remove reports an error when the package is not installed.
- Install docs now say Node.js 20+, and the add --ci examples show aipm init first.

CLI 0.4.10 — shared .ai skill install
- When a project has more than one AI tool folder, aipm add asks whether to copy into one tool or keep the skill in .ai/skills and shortcut the others.
- aipm add --shared writes .ai/skills/<skill>/SKILL.md and links .cursor/skills, .claude/skills, and .agents/skills.

CLI 0.4.9 — Cursor skills install where Cursor loads them
- aipm add --target cursor now writes .cursor/skills/<skill>/SKILL.md, including supporting files.
- A later add or update removes the old .cursor/aipm/skills/<skill>.md file and records the new path in aipm-lock.json.

CLI 0.4.8 — interactive UX, --no-init, and release plumbing
- Published @aipm-registry/cli@0.4.8 to npm and GitHub Releases (cli-v0.4.8). Tags cli-v0.4.4 through cli-v0.4.7 were cut in git, but their release jobs failed, so 0.4.8 is the first published release after 0.4.3.
- Added mint-branded interactive menus (arrow keys, highlight bar) for recoverable errors.
- Added --no-init on add/update/remove for one-shot installs without aipm.package.json.
- When a project is not initialized, the CLI can offer init now or continue without tracking.
- Fixed aipm login hanging after credentials were saved (callback server keep-alive sockets).
- Fixed npm release OIDC trusted publishing (stop classic token auth from shadowing GitHub Actions).
